The Persian Gulf is at the tipping point of destroying its natural environment of global migrant species and endemics. Unique, green, pristine, threatened ecosystems lie unrepresented or unprotected.  The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are diversifying their economies towards eco-tourism and ecosystem services with vast capital to invest.

This photography project documented threatened ecosystems of the UAE for exhibition at the Imagine Science Film Festival in Abu Dhabi. There is a long-term goal of promoting wider understanding and capacity building of UK based NGOs and conservation groups and thus supporting sustainable landscape and tourism development.
