I’m pleased to see that the wider issues of Madagascar’s economic crisis are getting good press this week. The BBC have recorded a full radio documentary “Crossing Continents” which you can listen to HERE, as well as recording a short film for BBC World TV HERE. The issue is soon to be linked to on the BBC World News site with 8 of my images in slideshow gallery. Fortune Magazine (US) have ran full page spread image from the project and also featured a slide-show on their debut iPad app (which is free to download). If anyone has an iPad do let me know what it looks like 😉
On 28 July, I will be teaching a workshop in London focusing specifically on night photography and the world of long exposures. The workshop will start with an intensive one hour tutorial after which we’ll head into the streets and play with the light, or rather lack of! For more details visit the Shoot Experience website.
So many stories, so little time online to blog! On Friday 23rd July if you’re in London and into Photography you NEED to head to Host Gallery for the Summer Show. I’ve had a sneaky peek at the entrants and it looks an incredible cross-section of recent work. The night is ticketed at £10 but this gets you unlimited drinks with musicians and food stalls aswell. Tickets will sell out from HERE. I’ve got my old favourite “The Pier” on show but check out Laura Pannack and Jason Larkin’s new work aswell!
